Osteopaths can help patients, particularly those whose movement has been affected by surgery in order to regain their pre surgery mobility and life style. Often patients are uncomfortable after surgery, due to the surgery itself, the hospital bed and from being immobilised for a period of time. Gentle osteopathic treatment, encouragement and exercises to get you back to normal activity will be provided. This can all be done as soon as each individual is well and comfortable enough following your surgery and return to home. On certain occasions the osteopath come come to the hospital to provide help once permission is obtained from all relevant people.
Daryl Herbert's instructional videos provide a visual and audible description of Osteopathic Minimal (short) Lever Mid Range Manipulation Techniques, for osteopaths, physiotherapists, manual therapists, mid to senior level students, graduates and post graduates. Techniques demonstrated look at the basic spinal regions, the spinal junctions, the sacro-iliac joints, ribs and the lower and upper extremity joints.
